a cooking class and get into the action yourself. Whether you are a novice in the kitchen or an
aspiring chef yourself, you'll get lots of great ideas, cooking tips - and did we mention that you
get to taste the creations, too?

Hands-On Classes All D&W Fresh Market Culinary Classroom classes are hands-on. Under the direction of the chef, students will roll up their sleeves and prepare the recipes selected for the class, learning creative tips and techniques from experienced teaching chefs and sampling the fruits of their labors. Students will receive a packet of course materials, including recipes and ingredient coupons. Dress is informal. Aprons will be provided.
Kids Can Cook Classes Fun and exciting hands-on Kids Can Cook Classes are offered by chefs experienced with "growing cooks." Classes are held on Saturdays for kids aged 6-14. An adult participant must accompany any child (or 2 children) under 12. Kids should dress in "messy" clothes and wear short-sleeved shirts. Aprons and chef's hats will be provided.
Teens at the Stove Classes Aspiring young chefs 14-19 get the inside story about cooking professionally and recreationally from trained and experienced chefs. They will learn skills, techniques and recipes that will impress their friends. They’ll have a great time working together to produce delicious and healthy meals. Dress for messy. Aprons will be provided.

Feature Chef - Chef Roz Mayberry, D&W Fresh Market Culinary Classroom Coordinator

Many years living in France made wine judge, wine educator, and D&W Fresh Market Wine Consultant/Merchandiser, Roz Mayberry, a hopeless lover of good things to eat and drink. And six years as co-owner and chef of a catering company gave her a great love and appreciation for what goes into making good food. A former English professor, Roz has been with D&W Fresh Market the past 12 years choosing the wine selection, training the wine staff in its stores, and teaching in the Culinary Classroom.
